The Work Ahead

As Tennessee’s story reaches the river horizon, the next journey follows the expansion toward the West Coast. This was an age of sailors, surveyors, navigators, and mapmakers. They mastered the sea by reading the heavens, measuring angles, keeping time, and correcting their course.
